What is the vision of Art in Hand?
Good education always has a goal in mind. At Art in Hand Studio, our vision is to inspire creativity and to help children express themselves through art. A quality art education allows children natural expression while learning techniques employed by master artisans throughout history. That’s why Art in Hand purposefully incorporates the study of famous artists, illustrators, and art pieces into its curriculum. From “Mommy and Me” classes to advanced art instruction, children enjoy creating their own works of art while studying the work of others.

Why study art?
Not every child will grow up to be the next Picasso or Michaelangelo, but art education does more than teach how to draw or paint. Studies show that art instruction engages children in creative expression, critical and creative thinking, and problem solving. It helps students understand and relate to other cultures by developing the recognition of art as an expression of culture. Art instruction also grows an understanding of history and the role of artistic expression throughout the human experience.
